Update on Our Latest Job

Hi as you can see we have put inthe steps and sleeper walls wich is startin to make the job look as if we are getting some were our next task is to start making the paths around the base area we will be doing this next week if the weather holds.

This type of construction is very time consuming as every sleeper has to be cut individaly and cemented in.
It maybe does not look anything just now but i am sure it will look great when it is finished.

I also would like to mention some new product we have just aquired on the Everything for the Garden web site this is the Party Fridge this is a fridge you can use for entertaining on your Patio or Deck or even inside if your normal fridge is to full, so if you are interested go and have a look at it www.everythingforthegarden.co.uk
maybe you could tell me what you think.
We also have some new Garden and patio furniture at reduced prices that may interest you.
Anyway i will put another update on our progress in a couple of days.

Bye For now

Starting a New Design and Build Project

Hi there we at everything for the garden Landscape team have just started a new design and build Garden Project.
This is a big Project for us and we will be showing pictures of what we are doing step by step
our first task after submiting the design plans was to start clearing the slope this is picture to the left shows just how much of a slope it is.

We are going to create a set of Fan Seps and a retain wall of sleepers at either side we will then create a path around a water feature then 2 seating areas top and bottom plus a separate area at the side of the house this will be another sleeper wall but insteat of being straight this one will be rounded and last we will plant it all out.
Well wish us luck we will need it.

Landscaping On a Wet Thursday In Scotland

Hi hello from the Landscaping team at Everythingforthegarden yesterday we started a Mono Block Job in Fairlie in Ayrshire we started by bringing i a mini digger and removed about 8 inch of soil this was a race against time as in Scotland at this time it can rain for days our objective was to get the soil out and the hard core in in one day.
This we managed by the skin of our teeth as we had just finished wacking the hardcore before it tipped it down for hours.
We could not get started till 1pm today thursday as the ground was to wet however the men spent there time in the Morning Fertilising Lawns and cutting Shrubbery Back we then got going by spreading out the whin dust and screading it witch is the process of leveling so we can lay the Mono we do this by laying scaffold poles ontop of the hardcore then filling in between we then pull a board down the scaffolding polls this levels the whin dust we then wacked it again and you Guessed it it started to rain job stopped till tomorrow Friday when w ehope to start laying the block.
I hope to let you know how we got on tomorrow night.
